The silk bustier (or silk bodysuit) is a recurring bodice in the Dragon Quest series that first appeared in Dragon Quest V. It is a mid-ranking piece of clothing designed exclusively for female characters.

Dragon Quest VEdit
The silk bustier has a defence bonus of +60. It can only be worn by female characters.
Dragon Quest VIIEdit
The silk bustier has a defence bonus of +38 and a style bonus of +45. It can only be equipped by Maribel and Aishe. It can be purchased in Huzu for 7,800 gold and sold for 3,900 gold. One can also be found in the Temple Palace in the present.
Dragon Quest VIIIEdit
The silk bustier has a defence bonus of +44. It can only be worn by Jessica and Red and can be purchased in Argonia for 5,500 gold when the bazaar begins and sold for 2,750 gold. The silk bustier can be made into a bunny suit with the Alchemy Pot by combining it with a bunny tail.
Dragon Quest IXEdit
The silk bustier in this game is an upgrade from the dangerous bustier, and can be upgraded even further into the divine bustier.
