The Sintaur is a recurrent monster in the Dragon Quest series and it was introduced in Dragon Quest VI.

Characteristics

Sintaurs are centaur-like monsters, however they do not have any human or horse body part in them, they are demons from their head to the end of their tails. They skin is blue and they usually have blond hair that later transforms into yellow scales at their back and tails. Sintaurs have a fish-type face without noses and with pointed ears. In the right ear they wear a golden earring. Sintaurs are usually armored, they wield an iron halberd which they use to hack and slash at foes, and a sword resting in it's scabbard that they never seem to swing in battle. They float fishily across the battle field rather than actually walking on their fat flipper feet. Wielding their worrisome weapons fiercely, they can flick at all foes with a flurry of blades, causing dangerous damage to an entire party of people. Sometimes they'll swing their blades above their demonic heads, causing move damage than any old average attack.
