Slipweed is a recurring item in the Dragon Quest series. It is an unusually slick plant that is used as a crafting ingredient, particularly for making pieces of equipment that boost the wearer's evasion or agility.

Slipweed can be collected in Eastern Coffinwell, Hermany, and Western Wormwood. It can be sold for 23 gold or used in the following alchemy recipes:

Dragon Quest XEdit

Slipweed is used as a material for crafting armour and in certain cooking recipes. It can be purchased from a material store for 310 gold, picked up from sparkly spots, or dropped by certain monsters like Chimaeras, Pan pipers, and Djinn genies.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive AgeEdit

Slipweed can be purchased from the roving emporium at the Snærfelt for 610 gold starting from the second act and sold for 152 gold. It can be received from sparkly spots at the Eerie Eyrie or dropped by Miasmas. The slipweed is used in the following recipes for the Fun-Size Forge:

Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight BelowEdit

Slipweed can be dropped by Chimaeras, Canniboxes, Mimics, and Pandora's boxes or received from King Flaminio in exchange for 5 mini medals each. It can be used to create Agility rings and the quick recipe for the Mugger's mask in the Alchemy Pot or sold for 45 gold. Two servings of slipweed are required to complete Quest #34: A Slippery Customer.

Dragon Quest Heroes II: Twin Kings and the Prophecy's EndEdit

Slipweed is used as a material to improve various accessories and can be sold for 45 gold. It can be dropped by Chimaeras, Hocus chimaeras, Drackymas, and Cosmic chimaeras.
