The ursa minors are perhaps the least fantastical of all monsters, though they nevertheless possess far more ferocity and strength than their natural counterparts. The species went into a prolonged hibernation after its debut in 1988, laying dormant for nearly three decades until 2013.
Appearances
Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation
Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past
The ursines do not appear in the main game of VII, but rather as bonus enemies exclusive to the DLC Tablet.
