Thanks a ton for helping filling out the characteristics pages on the barren monster pages, and matching Plus-Alpha's syntax so well--it's been a sore spot for me for a while but I've been to swamped with filling out the info boxes for 8's bestiary to take a shot at them, among other side projects. The appreciation is much appreciated! I've been adding monster descriptions as I encounter the monsters on my first playthrough of Dragon Quest VI; creating a kind of bestiary to go along with the adventure. The reason I've stuck with the syntax so closely is mainly due to Dragon Quest 8 on the PlayStation 2; the game that made me fall in love with the series and it's character and the mannerisms and accent that's added on to everything. I realise now I've been writing these on and off for almost a year, but I plan to complete them all and then move on to Dragon Quest VII. Thanks for starting this site; it's a great place that adds even further depth and heart to the series.

It's incredible to see how VIII is still the crown jewel of the series after all these years and the one that makes new fans out of people--that's what happens when the fans get to work with the original developers! You've got Plus Alpha's rhythm and beats down pat, keep up the good work and have fun doing it! Considering how VII has some of the most bizarre and wacky beasts in the series, it ought to let you run wild with creative writing.(Follower of Light (talk) 01:51, 15 May 2018 (EDT))
