Walking corpse (originally Hork) is a monster in the Dragon Quest series, introduced in Dragon Quest II.

Description

The walking corpse is a reanimated corpse, part of the Zombie family. It is usually the first undead monster fought in the game. In some editions, the walking corpse has a poison attack, poisoning one party member when it hits.

The Hork can be found in the MechSoldier's Base in the past, the Verdham region in the past, the Marsh Cave region, the Deja Tunnel region in the past, and the Lake Altar Cave in the past. The Hork has the rare chance of dropping a Hork Heart, allowing one player to become a Hork when the Heart is taken to the Temple of Dharma.
