It is a mid-level piece of armour in every appearance, but it is a [[cursed]] item in it's debut as well as the eighth game. Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen[edit]

The zombie mail has a defence bonus of +49... but it reduces the wearer's HP by 1 per step when walking outside of battle.
