Cave of the Dwarves

The Cave of the Dwarves is a new dungeon and town to the south of Rimuldar in the Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake. Initially, the Warlock of Doorlocks asks the hero of Dragon Quest I to go there to find the dwarf who was helping him make a new magic key. It has the general appearance of a mine.

The first two levels down consist of a dungeon with monsters, while the third level has the peaceful town of the dwarves. Once you've arrived at the third level in the Dragon Quest I HD-2D Remake, Zooming to the Cave of the Dwarves will take you right to the town. This does not happen in the Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake.

In the Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake, the Cave of the Dwarves appears after you've beaten the game and had the name Erdrick appended to your savefile, and its well leads to the Cave of Confusion, the main bonus dungeon.
