The '''[[Dark slime]]''' is a recurring monster in the {{DQSeries}}. First introduced in {{DQMCH}}, they are [[slime]]s with sinister qualities.

==Characteristics==
Dark slimes could be said to be a combination of slimes and [[Dracky|drackies]]. They have fanged smiles and small wings that make them similar to the bloodsucking fiends, as well as sharing this vampire-like diet, but are easily spotted as slimes given their droplet shape and big, round eyes.

While dark slimes are stronger than the average slime, they aren't exactly powerful and could be considered more like the bottom rung of a subfamily like the [[Metal slime]], seeing as how there are stronger versions of the dark slime such as the [[Dark slime knight]].
