Mentare is a town found on the Verdham continent in the game Dragon Quest VII.
History
Mentare is founded by Pepe/Calloway(3ds) after he leaves Verdham. He creates his own herb garden in a field east of Verdham. Due to his gardening skills and his business savvy, Mentare becomes more successful than Verdham.
Present
Only the town of Mentare exists in the present. The success of Mentare causes Verdham to collapse. The current owner of the Herb Garden is very wealth. However he spends much of his time chasing maids around dressed like a thief.
Trivia
There is an error in Mentare. One of the old women says
"It's rally amazing that they could afford to build all this just by selling herbs."
