==Appearance==
When used, the War drum doubles '''all''' active party member's attack power for no MP, making the spell [[Oomph]] (which doubles only '''one''' party members attack for MP) obsolete.  
It can only be gotten at the [[Fungeon (Dragon Quest V)|end of the game]], so it's understandable that such an overpowered item would have gotten to the point where it would be literally useless if it weren't for the post-game bonus Boss [[Estark]] in [[Nadiria]].

Additionally [[Soulspawn]] and [[Deathsquad]] will sometimes use them, though they aren't obtainable from either monster.
