Editing Quick save

A '''quick save''' (formerly ''field log'' and ''temporary save'') is a saving mechanism included in newer ''[[Dragon Quest (series)|Dragon Quest]]'' games and remakes. It allows the player to quickly save the same without being at a typical 'save' location. However, in some releases, the save is volatile and will be deleted after the player resumes play from the save point. As of the mobile releases, quick saves now occupy their own save data position and do not disappear after resuming the quest, allowing easy resets at any given time. This mechanism is useful when the player must quit the game quickly without having time to travel to a save point, and is almost essential on a mobile release when the platform is used for many other purposes besides playing games.
