The ''Abject terror'' is a boss monster exclusive to the eleventh game in the series. It is the embodiment of the [[Luminary (Dragon Quest XI)|Luminary's]] deepest dread made manifest as a part of the trials found in [[Drustan's Labyrinth]]. It is based on the Spectral Sentinel [[Indignus]], and uses his polygon model as a basis for its own design in a haunting blue shade.
