Editing Waterfall Shack

The Waterfall Hut is a location of the Farebury Region in DQ8. It is found upon going around the mountain of the Waterfall Cave and is home to a single old man.

Story
The Hero 8 and his party visit the old man of Waterfall Hut several times throughout their quest, with the first visit involving the retrieval of his missing toolbag by a red tree east of Farebury. Afterwards, he takes notice of Munchie stating that he's no ordinary mouse and will give The Hero a portion of Cheese from time to time.

Remake
The version gives the old man's dialogue audio to accompany the text which was absent from the English PlayStation 2 version.

Trivia
*The Hermit living in the hut can be summoned in battle with the use of Yangus's ultimate Humanity skill, Golden Oldies, which summons a stampede of people composed by various side characters to crush the enemy.
start
*The Hermit living in the hut is a Dragovian. When first met he hints to know what (and who) {}Munchie}} is. This is why he continuously offers cheeses to the hero. If the Hero 8 returns to his hut after Munchie identity is revealed an extra cutscene will play where he outright confirms he knew Chen Mui's identity, and in a post cutscene dialogue he addresses himself as a Dragovian.
