The '''metal wing boomerang''' is a {{Boomerang}} in the {{DQSeries}}. It is the most powerful boomerang in it's debut, and a top-tier weapon in all subsequent appearances.

In addition to it's high damage output, it is capable of dealing at least 1 damage to {{Metal slime}}s, meaning it can chip away at entire groups of the globs at once.

The metal wing boomerang has an {{Attack}} bonus of +90 (+70 in the Japanese version) and can be equipped by the {{Hero 8}} and [[Morrie]]. It damages all enemies in battle, like all {{Boomerang}}s, and is guaranteed to inflict 1-2 damage on {{Metal slime}}s.

It can only be made using the [[Alchemy Pot]]. However, one of the drawbacks to making the boomerang is that one has to sacrifice their Metal king spear, as there is only one in the game. This is rectified in the {{3DS}} version, as another [[Metal king spear]] can be found in [[Memories Lane]].
*The [[Cell phone|smartphone]] and {{3DS}} versions of the game also introduced the ability to turn the boomerang back into the spear by combining it with a [[Holy lance]] in the [[Alchemy Pot]].
