Editing Nintendo

Nintendo was the creator of the main platforms for the Dragon Quest series up to and including [[Dragon Quest VI]], as well as the publisher of the NES version of the first game in North America and the publisher of [[Dragon Quest IX]] outside of Japan. With [[Dragon Quest VII]], [[Sony]]'s [[Playstation]] became the main platform. However, Dragon Quest games continued to be released for Nintendo handheld platforms, and [[Dragon Quest X]] is being developed for Nintendo's Wii system.
