The '''Hades' condor''' is a recurring monster in the {{DQSeries}}, first appearing in ''[[Dragon Quest III]]''. 

==Characteristics==
'''Hades' condors''' are large [[Bird family|birds]] of prey with purple and white plumage and a huge pair of sharp talons. In their original appearance, they has a tendency to send party members back to [[Patty's Party Planning Place]] by using the [[Bazoom]] (or Blasto) spell, forcing the player to go all the way back to [[Aliahan]] to retrieve their lost party member(s) (assuming they even know to look there - which many first time players may not), making it a very irritating foe. 

Because of this, the monster is often associated with the spell, which it retained for its first reappearance in the main series in ''[[Dragon Quest VIII]]'' and a few of the spin-offs such as ''[[Dragon Quest Builders]]''. This monster is also often associated with the sea due to appearing on the ocean in Dragon Quest III. They often possess healing magic, as well.
