Upsizing seeds are an item introduced in DQM3, and so far exclusive to the DQMSeries. Rather than increasing stats or adding skill points, these seeds can be used to increase the size of a MFamilies from Small to Large. Large monsters gain several advantages, but their bulk causes them to take up two party slots instead of one.

This seed's shrinking counterpart is the downsizing seed.

DQM3
The size-altering seeds were not present in the game at launch, but were added in the Version 1.0.6 patch.

DQM4
Both upsizing and downsizing seeds were available in the game at release.
