The Wight prince is a monster that first appeared in Dragon Quest V, where it was a weaker variant of the Wight king (Dragon Quest V). After a 25 year long absence from the series, it made a reappearance in Dragon Quest XI, where it once again is a weaker variant of the Wight king (Dragon Quest V), but is stronger than the newly appearing Shadow minister.
