Tricksy is a monster in the Dragon Quest series that first appeared as a boss in Dragon Quest IV.

Picksy monsters said to disguise themselves as one's trusted companions, only to betray them at a moment's notice.

Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen[edit]
There are only two of them in the game, setting a trap at Con Cave. When the lone Hero fell into a pit after battling 2 Frolickers, he encounters them chasing who appeared to be Maya and Meena Mahabala. It turned out that they were really Vampire bats in disguise. Together, all four of them attempt to defeat the Hero, only to fail.

The strongest of the Picksy monster line, as well as the strongest Rank B monster for the Demon family, they have Psyche Up when recruited and learn Morph at level 20.
