It gives a boost to the wearer's {{Defence}}.

The Ruby of protection has a {{Defence}} bonus of +15 and can be equipped by all characters. One can be received from the [[Medal King's Palace|Medal King]] for turning in 20 [[mini medal]]s, and others can be found in the fifth stage of the [[Pioneer Town]] and the {{Fungeon 4}}. It can also be dropped rarely by [[Scarewell]]s and sold for 2,025 [[gold]] coins.

The Ruby of protection has a {{Defence}} bonus of +10, a {{Style}} bonus of +5, and can be equipped by the {{Hero 7}}, [[Maribel]], [[Ruff]], [[Sir Mervyn]], and [[Aishe]]. It can be purchased from the [[Grand Conjuratorium]] for 3,500 [[gold]] coins and sold for 1,750 [[gold]] coins. One can be found in the [[Sunken Citadel]] in the present and another in [[Aeolus Vale]] in the past.  

The Ruby of protection has a {{Defence}} bonus of +15 and can be equipped by all characters. It can be purchased from [[Argonia]] once the bazaar starts for 3,100 [[gold]] coins and sold for 1,550 [[gold]] coins. One can be found in [[Baccarat]] and another in [[Orkutsk]]. They can also be dropped by [[Living statue (recurring)|Living statue]]s, as well as [[Great keeper]]s in the [[Nintendo 3DS]] version. The ruby can be made in the [[Alchemy Pot]] by combining a [[Gold ring]] with a [[Seed of resilience|Seed of defence]]. It can also be used in various recipes for other items, as well.
