The unnameed hero of Dragon Warrior is the son or daughter of a human and a [[Zenithia]]n. He/She was raised in a small unnamed town north of [[Branca]]. His/Her childhood friend is a girl named Celia. When monsters attack the town to kill the hero, Celia uses the [[Transform]] spell to look like the hero and she is killed along with everyone else in the town while the hero remains hidden in an underground storeroom.
