Manoza remains unchanged from previous versions of the game, though somber music will play until the boss troll is killed. Said brute also explicitly states his allegiance to [[Baramos]], pinning the kingdom's suffering on the Archfiend. The [[Son of Simão]] now has a distinct sprite of his own, and will have special dialogue once Baramos is killed.

*Manoza is the only only town other than the [[Immigrant Town (Dragon Quest III)|Immigrant Town]] in the {{NES}} to have different townspeople placement at a certain time during the events of the game.  Upon the first visit, the {{Hero 3}} and {{Party 3}} witness the ongoing funeral of Breno with his family and friends attending. This occurs only on the first visit and afterward all townspeople are located in their normal locations.
