The '''falcon knife earrings''' is a recurring weapon in the ''[[Dragon Quest (series)|Dragon Quest]]'' franchise. Like its [[Falcon blade|larger variant]], the falcon knife earrings attack twice per turn. However they can only be wielded by female characters in most installments and possess a lower attack bonus. To compensate for this, both strikes can inflict [[Critical Hit|critical hit]]s, be amplified by [[Oomph]] and [[Focus Strength]], and do not suffer the percentage reduction of the [[Sword Weapon Family|sword]] version.

The falcon knife earrings have an {{Attack}} bonus of +5. It can only be wielded by female characters. When equipped by [[Alena]], both strikes have an equal chance of being critical hits.

 

The falcon knife earrings have an {{Attack}} bonus of +35. It can be purchased as a [[casino]] prize for 10,000 tokens. It can only be wielded by female human characters and slime companions (such as the {{Slime knight R}}).

The falcon knife earrings have an {{Attack}} bonus of +35. It may be equipped by [[Milly]], [[Ashlynn]], and all slime buddies save [[Goowain]]. The weapon is the prize for reaching Rank C in the [[Slimopolis]] tournament, and is dropped by [[jugular joker]]s and [[sail serpent]]s at a rate of 1/128.

The falcon knife earrings have an {{Attack}} bonus of +45 and may be equipped by [[Maribel Mayde]] and [[Aishe]]. They possess the same traits as in the previous game, and can be purchased at the [[Sea Dragon (sailing vessel)|Sea dragon]] for 11,000 {{Gold}}.
