Aktemto Mine is found in Enix's Dragon Warrior IV, located underneath the town of Aktemto. The entrance to the mine is at the north end of the village. The miners of Aktemto continued to dig further and further in search of gold. It was here that Nara and Mara found the gunpowder jar and the silver tarot cards.
Later, the mine became a place of great tragedy. The miners accidentally dug through to a complex of tunnels that ultimately leads to Esturk's palace, and poisonous gas spilled out and killed or sickened nearly everyone in town. However, the hero's party ventured through the mines in order to defeat the great evil, Esturk.
