Brecconary is a town found in Enix's Dragon Warrior. Located just east of Tantegel Castle, the town is one of the first places visited by the hero.
Armor and Weapons Shop
In the original Dragon Warrior, this shop, located to the immediate north of the town entrance, sells the following goods:
- Bamboo Pole (10 gold)
- Club (60 gold)
- Copper Sword (180 gold)
- Clothes (20 gold)
- Leather Armor (70 gold)
- Small Shield (90 gold)
Since the Hero comes here at the beginning of his quest, it is likely that he only has 120 gold to choose from the above items for his starting equipment, since he starts with no equipment.
In Dragon Warrior III, this selection differs:
- Dragon Killer (15000 gold)
- Power Knuckle (7100 gold, Remakes only)
- Angel Robe (3000 gold)
- Dragon Mail (9800 gold)
- Dragon Shield (3500 gold)
- Silver Shield (8800 gold)
- Mythril Helmet (18000 gold) (Remakes Only)

Inns
The inn, located to the south of the entrance, costs 6 gold to sleep at.
In Dragon Warrior II, this inn also costs only 6 gold for the party to sleep at, though this is a reduced fare as this price is actually 2 gold per person.
In Dragon Warrior III, it costs 1 gold per person, which means the maximum price is only 4 gold.
Item Shops
The item shop, in the southeast, sells the following:
- Medical Herb (24 gold)
- Torch (8 gold)
- Dragon's Scale (20 gold)

- Medical Herb (8 gold)
- Antidote Herb (10 gold)
- Fairy Water (20 gold)
- Wing of the Wyvern (25 gold)
- Full Moon Herb (30 gold)

Miscellaneous Services
In Dragon Warrior, a store in the north-east corner sells Fairy Water, which works like the Repel spell and wards off some enemies temporarily. Additionally, an old man lives in a house near the center of town who can lift curses.
In Dragon Warrior III, the Fairy Water store is instead a House of Healing.
