As the very first area in the game, the area is populated with nothing stronger than Slimes, She-slimes, and Moles. Naturally, as it is only a lead-up to Caliburn Caves, the area also lacks a boss. It does, however, feature the only NPC who can be spoken to outside of a town: A member of the guard who introduces the Caves and wishes the Hero luck as he enters.
