AppearancesEdit
Dragon Quest VII ReimaginedEdit
Victimiser is learned at rank 3 of the Thief vocation. It costs 5 MP and deals 620% damage to poisoned or paralysed monsters, with all others taking 110% damage. The critical hit ratio is half that of a normal attack.
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry SkiesEdit
This ability is learned with 35 skill points allocated into Knife skill, and will inflict 50% more damage to the ailing target. Defeating 10 Envenomated Bad karmours with Victimiser is required to complete Quest #68: Spice Up Your Knife.
Dragon Quest XEdit
Victimiser can be learned by Thieves, Minstrels, Dancers, Gadabouts, Demon Swordsmen, and Pirates by allocating 100 skill points into the Knives skill. It costs 3 MP to use and deals 400% damage against Poisoned or Paralysed monsters. All other targets will take 150% damage instead. When used, the skill creates three glowing purple tendrils that form around the knife that strike the enemy.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive AgeEdit
| Game | Description |
| A sly strike that can see poisoned or paralysed enemies taking six times the usual damage.[1] |
Erik and Sylvando can learn Victimiser through the Knives panel on their character builders for 13 and 16 skill points respectively. It costs 5 MP to perform and will deal 620% damage to monsters that are poisoned or Paralysed, all other enemies taking 110% damage. Erik has the potential to deal massive amounts of damage if Victimiser is used in combination with Divide. Victimiser uses the same animation from X.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark PrinceEdit

EtymologyEdit
- In the original Japanese version, Victimiser is named after Thanatos, the god and personification of death in Greek mythology. He is the twin brother of Hypnos, the god of sleep, and the two were said to reside in the Underworld where the rays of the sun never reach them. In the original Japanese, Persecutter is named after Hypnos.
