The Training togs are a recurring set of clothing in that series that first appeared in Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation. They appear to be the standard costume of Martial Artists, but they can be worn by other vocations, as well.
Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation[edit]
The training togs have a defense bonus of +10, and can only be worn by Martial Artist, Gadabouts and Sages. It can be purchased in Reeve for 80 gold and sold for 60. One set can be found at Jipang in a dresser. In the Super Famicom and Game Boy Color versions of the game, they can be found randomly in the second Treasures n' Trapdoors track by searching a grass, forest, or mountain tile.
