The Wimp, also known as a Tinkerhell, is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest IV.

It is a rare blue variant of the Imp.

Characteristics[edit]

Wimps are small demons with the appearance of mischievous children in teal-colored devil costumes with purple faces, gloves, and boots, carrying a pitchfork in their hands that is taller than them. It is a common complaint among players of IV that, when filling out their 'The Big Book of Beasts', they are often missing the Wimp, as it is hard to encounter and can only be found in Chapter 4. Completing the entire monster book awards the player 250,000 tokens for use in the casinos in Endor and Pioneer Town.

In the remake versions of IV, most of their body was colored blue and their faces have light skin. When the wimps reappeared in X after a 23 year absence, they regained their original color scheme.
