The Angel's robe or angel robe is a recurring robe in the Dragon Quest franchise. It is a high-level robe said to have been worn by an angel and it protects the wearer against instant death spells in all appearances and occasionally reduces magical damage.
Appearances
Dragon Quest III
The angel's robe has a defence bonus of +35. It can be equipped by Mages, Priests, and Sages. It can be purchased from the Super Secret Faerie Village, the last final stage of the Immigrant Town, and Tantegel for 3,000 gold.
Dragon Quest VII
The angel's robe has a defence and style bonus of +55. It can be equipped by Maribel, Sir Mervyn, and Aishe. Angel's robes can be purchased in Aeolus Vale for 11,000 gold and sold for 5,500 gold.
Dragon Quest VIII
The angel's robe has a defence bonus of +73 and can be worn by Jessica, Angelo, Morrie, and Red. It can be made in the Alchemy Pot and can be upgraded into the princess's robe by combining it with a shimmering dress and a gold rosary.
