Appearances
Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation remake
The bronze knife has an attack bonus of +8. It can be equipped by Mages, Thieves, and Gadabouts. It can be purchased from Reeve for 80 gold and sold for 60 gold.
Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride
The bronze knife has an attack bonus of +12. It can be purchased for 150 gold in Roundbeck during the first generation. Bianca, Nera, the Hero's daughter, Harry, and various monster companions can equip it. Harry joins the party with one equipped. Bronze knives can also be dropped by Wax murderers and Wickermen.
Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation
The bronze knife has an attack bonus of +12 and a style bonus of +8. There are only two bronze knives in the game: the one Milly joins with and one found in a treasure chest in the Lucid Grotto. The knife can be sold for 112 gold and Milly, Ashlynn, Nevan, and Goowain can equip it.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past
The bronze knife has an attack bonus of +9 and a style bonus of +8. It can be equipped by Maribel, Ruff, Sir Mervyn, and Aishe. However, if Ruff equips it, his attacks actually decreases by 4. It cannot be purchased in any stores, but it can be sold for 75 gold. One is found in the tower east of Ballymolloy and another in Faraday Castle. Bronze knives can also be won from the Lucky Panel at the Casino.
- In the 3DS version, bronze knives can also be dropped by Wax murderers and Wickermen just like in V.
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King
The bronze knife has an attack bonus of +9. It can only be equipped by Jessica in the PS2 version as well as Red in the 3DS port. It can be bought for 150 gold in Peregrin Quay and sold for 75 gold. Shadows will drop it normally. Bronze knives can also be used in various recipes for the Alchemy Pot, including the Thief's Key, Copper sword, Bronze shield, and Bronze helmet.
