The Timewyrm is a superboss exclusive to the Definitive Edition of Dragon Quest XI. It serves as the game's most powerful enemy and most powerful superboss.
Characteristics
The Timewyrm is a golden-colored pallet swap of Mordragon, being a very large bony dragon with a dragon head at one end of its body and a skeletal head at the other end.
The Timewyrm is nihilistic, as it seeks to consume the world in darkness and is intent on erasing the light from Erdrea, as well as wanting to devour time itself and reduce everything to nothing. It is extremely powerful, being able to decimate the party with ease thanks to its fists and potent spell-casting.
Appearances
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age
The Timewyrm can only be fought after defeating the End of Time in Tickington, such an event is only possible after defeating Calasmos. Once the End of Time is defeated, a golden portal will appear in the skies north of Yggdrasil, entering it will prompt a battle with the Timewyrm.
