Gyldenbritches is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age.
It is a golden-armored variant of the Restless armour.
Characteristics
Gyldenbritches is a golden suit of armor armed with a longsword and a round shield. Like their iron counterparts, the suits of armor appear to be completely empty inside. Their main distinguishing characteristic is the Viking skull symbol emblazoned on their shield and right pauldron. The symbol features a horned viking helmet and a pair of crossed swords. These golden captains are the loyal underlings of the Spectral Sentinel Gyldygga, commanding her foot soldiers and carrying out her every command.
