| Coal slimes are a subspecies of the [[Shell slime]] that dwells in sweltering hot volcanic regions. Their bodies have turned bright red from exposure to high temperatures and they have yellow eyes with red irises. The black shells on their backs are made from accumulation of coal from their nearby environment. The Slimes specialize in using fire attacks and explosive magic on their opponents.
