The Wayward armour is a recurrent monster in the Dragon Quest series and it was introduced in Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation.
Characteristics[edit]
Wayward armours are one of the multiple animated suit of armour monsters found through the series. Their body consists of a set of metallic red cuirass, helmet, boots and gauntlets, all of them black with golden and purple details on them. Although they are limbless, they are seen wielding golden lances with blunted tips and blue handgrips, along with blue shields that are decorated with a red eye and golden details. These hulking husks of armour have a habit of heaving themselves into enemies, causing massive damage to themselves as well.
