Necrosaro is the main antagonist and final boss of Dragon Warrior IV. He is mentioned in every chapter, and his actions drive much of the games plot. Originally known as Saro, he became "Necrosaro" during his rise to evil, his search for the secret of evolution, his desire to kill the hero, and his exploits to resurrect the ruler of evil.
Chapter 1
Necrosaro is behind the kidnapping of the children of Izmit, and Ragnar fights Saro's Shadow as a final boss to this chapter.
Chapter 2
Necrosaro is the top contender in the Tournament of Endor, having defeated five combatants in succession, when Alena and her party arrives. But after Alena defeats five fighters as well, he is nowhere to be found and Alena is declared the champion of the tournament. It is presumed that he went after the Golden Bracelet which Alena gave up to save May, the fake princess, in Frenor.
Chapter 3

Chapter 4

Chapter 5
This chapter starts with Necrosaro leading a group of monsters into the hero's Hometown and killing everyone except the hero. After this he desires to resurrect Esturk. When Esturk's Palace is discovered by the miners in Aktemto, Necrosaro leads a group of monsters from the Dire Palace to the mine. He is successful in resurrecting the ruler of evil, but the hero and his party are able to defeat Esturk. Next, scenes of Saro/Necrosaro are seen in the dream sequence in Izmit. Finally after using the secret of evolution upon himself, Necrosaro takes up residence in the World of Darkness and becomes the final boss in the game.
