Genius (きれもの kiremono, translated as sharp in the Game Boy Color version of Dragon Quest III) is a personality in the Dragon Quest III remakes, in Dragon Quest X, and in Dragon Quest: Monster Parade.

In the Dragon Quest III remakes, genius is a personality that improves agility and wisdom growth, but reduces resilience and luck growth.
The hero cannot become a genius at the start of the game.
Other party members have a chance to be a genius when recruited as any class except warrior or martial artist, depending on their stat bonuses.
