Leonyx is the ruler of the monsters on the island in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 and must be defeated in order to access the Dark World. His corrupted, weaker form, Malevolynx is the final boss of the game.
Note
Leonyx will upgrade the hero's Scout Ring post-game. It will then be possible to scout the bosses (Wormonger, Missing lynx, etc.).
