The Azurile is a recurrent monster in the Monsters subseries and it was introduced in the original Dragon Quest Monsters 2.
Characteristics
Azuriles are hippogryph-like monsters, they have the body of a horse, the head of a vulture, the wings of a bat and a double tail. Their body is covered with yellow fur, however in the collarbone and the mane, this fur is replaced with green feathers, the same green of the beak; these monsters have two pairs of blue wings, one of them arises from their back and the other one is in the head and have a smaller size. Finally, despite horse legs should have more strength bearing with the body's weight, Azuriles have bird legs, brown giant bird legs.
