The Salvation stone is a recurring item in the Dragon Quest series, first introduced in Dragon Quest VII. When used as a tool in battle, it restores a small amount of HP to a single party member.

The salvation stone is received as a gift from Fingers when he joins as a temporary party member at Pilgrim's Perdition before they head to the Western Cave. The stone is invaluable to the party since the party has lost all access to their magic and abilities. It will restore 30-35 HP to a party member when used as a tool in battle and can be used an unlimited amount of times.

• In the Nintendo 3DS version, the amount of healing has been reduced to 20~30 HP.
