Philippa is an infamous monster that appears exclusively in the 3DS version of Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.

Name origin
In the Japanese version, Philippa is named Marilyn, presumably after Marilyn Monroe, the famous American movie starlet from the 1950s and 60s. The name Marilyn has appeared as the name of different recruitable monsters throughout the series.
