Point Out is an ability introduced in Dragon Quest VII. It attempts to counter some of the enemy's physical attacks, similar to Follow Suit.

Point Out is learned by advancing to rank 3 as a Jester. In the 3DS version, a similar ability named Sobering Slap is learned instead, at rank 2.
Etymology
Tsukkomi is a Japanese comedy term referring to one half of a comedy duo, with the other half being named boke. Tsukkomi comes from the verb, tsukkomu, which means to "butt in". The tsukkomi is the straight man of the duo, and often slaps their sillier or more stupid partner.
