The Somatic Staff is a recurring weapon in the Dragon Quest franchise.

Dragon Quest IV
The somatic staff has an attack bonus of +60, but drains the wielder's MP while attacking. It can only be wielded by Borya, Kiryl, Maya, and Meena.
