Slime curio

The slime curio is a knick-knack consisting of three healslimes holding tentacles attached to a lavender ribbon in Dragon Quest V. It can be purchased from the Fortuna Curiosity Shop for 5000 gold (the offer is only made if he doesn't have any other deals). Despite being a knick-knack, it is also a very effective armour for use by any slime companions, as it protects against both fire & ice damage and restores HP after each round.
