The freeze fly is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.
Introduced in Dragon Quest IV, it's a big bug surviving in freezing cold conditions.
Characteristics[edit]
Freeze flies are giant flying insects with blue bodies, green eyes, and large fanged mouths. True to their Japanese name, they're capable of casting the powerful Kacrackle.
