Zere

Zere is the name of a village and region in Dragon Quest IX. It is located north-northwest of Stornway. The layout of the village is similar to the shape of a heart. Zere trees, that look similar to sakura trees, are grown around the village, and there is a giant zere tree in the center of the village. Northwest of Zere is Doomingale Forest.

Trivia
- The name seems to be derived from the name of its own duplicate town, Zere Rocks, which actually originate from xerox.
- In the in-game history, the name seems to be originate from the Zere tree around the village, especially the giant one in the center.
