Dark skeleton

The Dark skeleton is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in the original game. It is a pitch-black variant of the regular Skeleton. Much like Shades and Silhouettes, they are animated shadows that attack adventurers; the difference being that the dark skeleton has retained the solid mass of its physical self.
