Goobonce
The Goobonce, formerly known as the Ice-breaker, is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest V. It is an unusual, alien-like monster that forms a duo with the bloodbonnet.

CharacteristicsEdit
Goobonces are squat pink bipedal demons with bizarre features. Their most notable features are the stalk-like protrusions from their shoulders that each have an extra eye. They have small round blue heads which give them their name, a tiny pair of yellow eyes, and a mouth filled with sharp fangs. On their hands and feet, they have a set of two sharp black claws and talons, which they utilize in vicious slashing attacks. The goobonce almost always appears alongside the bloodbonnet, which has the opposite coloration as them. However, the bestiary description for the goobonce in XI implies that their relationship is unequal.
