The Great helm is a recurring helmet in the Dragon Quest series that debuted in Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride.

The Great helm has a Defence bonus of +45. It can be bought for 20,000 gold coins coins in Precaria. The Hero, his son, Sancho, and Tuppence can equip it.
Dragon Quest VI: Realms of RevelationEdit
The Great helm has a Defence bonus of +50 and a Style bonus of +30, but it can be upgraded to have a Style bonus of +47. The Hero, Carver, Amos, Terry, Lizzie, and Goowain can equip it. It can be bought in Greedmore Valley for 25,000 gold coins coins and sold for 18,750 or 22,500 gold coins once it has been upgraded.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten PastEdit
The great helm has a Defence bonus of +45 and a Style bonus of +30. The Hero and Aishe can equip it. It can be bought for 45,000 gold coins and sold for 22,500 gold coins.
